What is Software ?
Software is a collection of instructions (programs) that enable a user to interact with the computer or have the computer specific tasks for them.
Computer software, or simply software, is that part of a computer system that consists of encoded information or computer instructions, in contrast to the physical hardware from which the system is built.
Software means computer instructions or data. Anything that can be stored electronically is software, in contrast to storage devices and display devices which are called hardware.
Types of software :
Project : Project is something that is developed based on the consumer requirement used by the customer only.
Product : Product is something developed based on the company specification used by the multiple customer.
Difference between Product and Project :
